Internship Opportunity

Are you passionate about the hospitality industry and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment? The Palm Venue & Catering is seeking three motivated individuals for full-time and part-time intern positions with a focus on food and beverage (F&B) and event coordination. This paid internship offers on-site training and the potential for full-time employment after four months.

About Us: The Palm Venue & Catering is a premier event venue and catering service dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our clients. Founded by successful women entrepreneurs, we take pride in our commitment to excellence and innovation in the hospitality industry.

 

Position Details:

  • Position: Full-time & Part-time Intern (3 positions available)

  • Location: The Palm Venue – 740 SE Maynard rd, Cary

  • Duration: 4-month internship, with the potential for full-time employment

  • Compensation: Paid internship

  • Training: On-site training provided

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event coordination and execution, including setup, teardown, and customer service.

  • Gain hands-on experience in F&B operations, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining quality standards.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless event experiences for clients.

  • Support administrative tasks related to event planning and venue operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Background in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Passion for the hospitality industry and eagerness to learn.
